A subtitle converter that runs in your browser

Small tools for files you already have. Each one converts locally in the browser tab, so the file is never uploaded.

Why these run in the browser

Converting a subtitle file does not need a server. The work is parsing a few hundred lines of text and writing them back in a different shape, which any browser does instantly. Most online converters upload your file anyway, because an upload is how they put an advert in front of you or a limit on your free tier.

These do not. The conversion happens in the page you are reading, and there is no upload endpoint to send a file to. That is also the honest boundary of our desktop app: SnailText generates subtitles from audio and cannot convert between existing subtitle formats, so these tools fill a gap the app does not cover rather than advertising something it does.
