MOV is the QuickTime video format from iPhones and Macs. SnailText extracts the audio, transcribes the speech with the Whisper model, and writes a phrase-level SRT subtitle file, all on your machine and on both Mac and Windows.

You get a separate .srt file, not captions burned into the video, so the subtitles stay editable and you can drop them into any editor or player.

How do I convert an iPhone MOV to SRT?

Does MOV to SRT work on Windows?
